The rules of baccarat at Osaka Casino / How to

Baccarat is a game with a possibility of getting a huge prize as it deals with the biggest money among casino games. The rule is very simple as it’s a game with easy rules, so it’s loved by a wide range of people from regular players with a small budget to wealthy rich people.

Baccarat was born in Europe and it means zero (0) in Italian, so in Europe, it is normally called Punto Banco at the casino.

Also, there are quite a few kinds of baccarat on the casino and the especially famous one is Mini baccarat. That is a version with a lower minimum bet amount compared to regular baccarat and the table itself is smaller.

When counting cards, A is counted as one, 2 to 9 are also counted as they are and 10, J, Q and K are all counted as zero.

The game progression of baccarat at Osaka Casino

1. Bet chips

With the dealer shouts out to start placing bets, players put their chips down on a betting area on the baccarat table and the betting time will finish when the dealer says “No more bets“.

The betting takes place on three spaces such as banker win, player win or draw, also there is a pair bet area with two types that are the first two cards dealt have the same number on either the banker or player’s side.

By the way, banker side and player side are basically just black and red options on the table, so they are not the actual dealer and player.

2. The cards are dealt

The dealer deals two cards each to each player and banker side out of 52 cards without the joker (they prepare seven pairs of 52 cards).

After that, both the player’s and banker’s cards are shown and any side where two cards are summed to make eight or nine will win. (This is called a natural.)

Or, if the sum of the cards is less than five, then a third card will be dealt.

Basically, the rule is that if the total of the two cards is zero to four, then a third card will be dealt, if it’s five, you can choose whether you get the third card or not and if it’s six or seven, then no card is dealt.

3. Game result

The winning player gets twice the amount they bet back, but depending on the table, 5% of the win amount may be charged as a fee. (so, in that case, it’s not twice the amount..)

Also, if it is a draw, then whatever you bet is returned to you and if your bet was on a draw (tie), then you get nine times what you bet as a return.

Or, if your bet was on a pair bet, then the return will be 12 times what you bet.
